Description:

1950s Pelikan 400, gray striped celluloid with black celluloid cap. These are one of the less common, yet affordable variants of the 400. (Green/gray comparison pictures may be found here and here.) Additionally, the pen carries the "EXPORT" marking. This pen is a strong gray so that it is more distinguishable from green than some examples. The nib is the logo style in KF. Some choice of nibs is available. Overall, a very fine example of an uncommon pen. The condition is Excellent + with no flaws and little sign of wear or use. $475.00. PE2048 SOLD!

PE2108: 1950 Pelikan 400 gray striped with black cap. This is a truly uncommon pen, the first year with the bayonet style nib rather than the usual screw-in. The 14 K 585 double incised nib is a fine, as indicated on the turning knob. This pen is in superb condition. $525.00 SOLD!

PE2109: 1954 Pelikan 400 gray striped with black cap. In very good condition with a superb logo style OBB nib. A great user or collection builder, or both. $495.00 SOLD!
