1952 Pelikan 400/450 fountain pen and mechanical pencil set in tortoise, with original Pelikan black leather etui (case). If I had to define the iconic postwar Pelikan, this would be it, a tortoise 400 set in the case. Everything about this set is complete and correct, right down to the original 14 K 585 incised script medium nib (that matches the marking on the turning knob).
