1950s Pelikan 400s, tortoise striped with brown cap. These are selling faster than we can list them, hence the combined listing. Great looking 400s, always elegant and no two alike (so the picture is representative only). You can sit for hours (assuming you have nothing better to do) and look into the colors and patterns, great for meetings. Wonderful pens!! The classic Pelikan, everyone should have one. Various nibs available, please inquire. We now have seven PE1920: A lovely pen from 1955 with matching cap and turning knob. The tortoise barrel is light with large patches of darker highlights and only a hint of red. An OB logo style nib makes this an all-around spectacular pen. $265.00 PE2023: The light color tortoise binde that shades down to darker highlights sets this pen apart from the common. The KEF nib promises a smooth fine line and is in the later logo style. The turning knob is stamped OB making the pen earlier than the nib. $250.00 A nib swap on this model is possible. PE2079 1956 Pelikan 400 in tortoise and brown. The barrel on this is medium in colour with even highlights. The turning knob on this is marked B, the nib is a 14 K logo style fine. $250.00 PE2160: 1952 Pelikan 400 in brown and tortoise. Medium to dark binde with strong red highlights. Fine script style nib with a bit of flex. The turning knob on this is redder than the cap. $250.00 ~~PE2161: 1954 Pelikan 400 in brown and tortoise. Light colored binde with brown and red accents. This is a very clean pen with a light tortoise binde that shows strong brown highlights with a hint of red. The nib is logo style, Fine, with very good flex. $250.00 SOLD! The brown cap on this early pen has undergone a somewhat typical color whift toward gray. The barrel shows wonderful variegated red and brown highlights.
