MBLN4: 1992 Lorenzo de Medici Limited Edition Patron of Art Series Fountain Pen, the iconic first of the Patron of Art series. The pen's sterling silver octagonal form is engraved with designs reminiscent of Renaissance styles. This pen has been used. Medium 18 K two-toned rhodium plated gold nib. Includes original packaging and papers. Limited Edition of 4,810. $4,500.00

 

MBLN5: 1996 Semiramis Limited Edition Patron of Art Series Fountain Pen. Queen Semiramis united Babylon and Assyria, and created the hanging gardens. This pen is made from black resin, overlaid with a lattice of gold plate and exquisitely detailed red enamel lacquer inlays. Medium 18 K gold nib. Includes original packaging and papers. Limited Edition of 4,810. $2,400.00

 

MBLN6: 1995 Prince Regent Limited Edition Patron of Art Series Fountain Pen, an homage to the Prince Regent, George IV of England. The blue body is ornamented with a gold plated filigree lattice. Medium 18 K gold nib. Includes original packaging and papers. Limited Edition of 4,810. $1,700.00 SOLD

 

MBLN7/8: 1997 Peter I the Great and Catherine II the Great Limited Edition Patron of Art Series Fountain Pen Set. Peter and his successor, Catherine, paved the way for the Russian cultural renaissance. The first pen, dedicated to Peter, is green with a gold plated overlay and engraved laurel leaves decorating the cap and has been used. Catherine is honored with a similar pen featuring an aubergine resin with rose gold plated overlay and this pen remains sealed. Of all the Patrons after the Medici, this may be my favorite. Medium 18 K gold nibs. Includes original packaging and papers. Limited Edition of 4,810 and both bear the same number. $3,500.00


 

MBLN9: 1980s Montblanc 149. The iconic Montblanc, perhaps the most famous pen in our world. It is in excellent condition showing \ light signs of use. 14 K medium to fine nib with a hint of flex. Comes in the white clamshell box without papers. $450.00

 

MBLN10:1990s Montblanc 149. This pen shows no signs of use whatever. 18 K medium to fine nib. Comes with a black box, no papers, the outer box marked for 163. $450.00 SOLD

 

MB3269: 1920s O-F Octagonal Silver jeweler overlay lever filler. This exquisite and uncommon little pen offers the best of Montblanc in the era and is one of the pens that inspired the modern Medici. Although small at 4” the pen posts high and is quite useable should you choose to do so. $1,500.00

 

MB3272: 1940s Montblanc 134. This is a wartime pen in celluloid with a long (clear striped) ink window. The broad steel two-tomned nib needs retipping, which I will arrange for. Apart from that it is a superb example. $500.00

 

MB3271: 1950s Montblanc 136. This is a very clean early postwar pen in celluloid with a single tone gold plated broad steel nib. The long striped inkwindow is clear and clean. This pen is everything a late 136 should be. $750.00

 

MBJH64: 1950s Montblanc 252. One of the iconic Montblancs of the 1950s, this wing nibbed, slip cap pen would make a superb daily user at a most affordable price. The nib is a 14 C ball-pointed medium with a decent amount of flex. $195.00

 

MB3192/3: A pair of Montblanc 22s, one with a fine and the other with a medium steel nib. These are take anywhere and do anything with pens, offering the quality of Montblancs with an affordable price $125/each.

 

MB3191: 1960s Montblanc 34 in gray. This is a fairly uncommon variant of the 34, a quiet standout in looks and quality. The nib is a superb 14 K OB. $295.00

 

MBJH65: 1960s Montblanc 320 slip cap alloy nibbed pen in black celluloid. An affordable pen that still offers superb postwar Montblanc quality and modernist style. The nib is a 14 Carat ballpointed medium wing. $125.00

 

MB3197: 1980s Montblanc 144 in burgundy. This small size cartridge is another go anywhere do anything pen. In good condition but with either a deep scratch or a crack mid-cap. I would be pleased to fill and stabilize the cap flaw. The nib is a 14 K medium. $85.00

 

MB3187: 2004 Franz Kafka Limited Edition Writers Series Fountain Pen. This tribute to Kafka plays on the theme of metamorphosis with a shape that changes from round at the cap to a square bottom and is crafted from translucent dark red resin and fitted in sterling silver. 18 K rhodium plated gold nib customized to a needle-point by John Mottishaw. Has been used. Includes original packaging and papers. $775.00
